Petersen Family Farm

We are Petersen Family Farm, a multi-generational farm that officially established in 2018 with our first purchase of a Registered Texas Longhorn. It didn’t take long for us to absolutely fall in love with this breed. With our ever growing knowledge of this breed, we strive for quality in our herd, not just in horn length, but in body confirmation, milking ability, fertility, birthing ease, and everything in between. Building a program that is focused on quality takes time, discipline, and a lot of hard work but is worth every moment spent as we continue to enjoy educating ourselves and others about this amazing breed! Since 2018, we have added pasture raised hogs to our farm and a pasture based egg operation, as well. With all we have growing here, we feel especially honored to be stewards of God’s beautiful creation.
